André and Liz Amorim are a travel-loving couple from Brazil and Paraguay who are passionate about entrepreneurship and interior design. Because of that, they embarked on a journey going through several countries to find something that would combine their passions.
When they arrived in Vietnam, they fell in love with the country, its history, heritage, and tradition. During their trip, they met a local artisan that carefully handcrafts Vietnamese vases, pieces that are crafted using millennia-old techniques.
After becoming good friends with him, André and Liz decided to create a brand that would focus on luxury decor items that they themselves love and wanted people to have in their own homes, such as the Vietnamese vases, Mediterranean olive trees, and faux foliage.
By being deeply moved by the beauty and history of these handcrafted pieces, Horizon was born. The name, in fact, comes from how they fell in love with the views and horizons of the mountains in Vietnam during their trip.
